Porsche and Pastries Returns Saturday, August 29, 9 AM to 1 PM
We are skipping the July meet-up, and the usual August date has shifted. Porsches and Pastries will coincide with the Blackhawk Museum speaker event on Saturday, August 29.
In the Parking Lot
Meet up in the parking lot of the Blackhawk Museum, 9 AM to 1 PM.
Will have coffee for the first 200 people, starting at 9 AM. All Porsches are welcome!
In the Museum
A presentation inside the Museum will feature Porsche Historian Jay Gillotti, who will provide two presentations. No sign-ups or reservations needed.
10:30 AM
Basic Porsche History - Based on his book, “Porsche Decades”, it’s an introductory presentation on a wide range of basic Porsche topics. Great for new members of the Porsche Club, or anyone new to the history spanning the past 150 years.
1:30 PM
936 ‘Secret Spyder’ - This is Jay’s new presentation celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 936 and based on his new book, which is coming out later this summer. The 936 is an underrated and overachieving Porsche racing car with three wins at Le Mans.
All PCA members who present their membership card will receive 50% off museum entry, which includes the speaker event. ($10 off)
A Porsche 904 will be on display for the presentation
Jay has offered to sign his books that you may have or you can preorder them from www.daltonwatson.com
